Liquor Store Clerk – Part-Time

Location: Canandaigua, NY
Pay: $17.00–$18.00/hour
Schedule: Part-Time (Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays Required)

We're hiring a reliable, hardworking Part-Time Clerk who enjoys a fast-paced retail environment, takes pride in showing up and doing the job well, and likes helping customers find what they need.

What You'll Do

• Assist customers with purchases, recommendations, and questions
• Operate the register and handle transactions accurately
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays
• Unload and organize deliveries
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked store
• Check IDs and ensure all sales comply with NYS alcohol laws
• Support teammates and pitch in wherever needed

Physical Requirements — Please Read Before Applying

This is a physically active role. You should be comfortable with:

• Standing and walking for the entire shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
• Lifting and carrying cases of alcohol up to 50+ lbs
• Moving quickly during busy periods

• 18+ years old (required by NYS law for alcohol sales)
• Dependable, with strong attendance and punctuality
• Customer-friendly with a positive, helpful attitude
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Willing to learn and help out across all areas of the store
• Retail or liquor store experience is a plus, but not required
