CDL Class A Driver – Heavy Equipment Transport

Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour

Position Summary

I&S of NYS Inc. is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver to transport heavy construction and oilfield equipment using flatbed trailers and winch trucks. This position requires direct experience hauling and securing heavy equipment and maintaining DOT compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A vehicles including flatbed trailers and winch trucks
• Load, secure, transport, and unload heavy equipment using proper chaining and tie-down procedures
• Conduct DOT-compliant pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and transportation documentation
• Follow FMCSA regulations and company safety policies

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
• Proven experience transporting heavy equipment
• Experience operating a winch truck
• Knowledge of DOT and load securement regulations

Physical Requirements

Ability to climb, secure loads with chains and binders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
